/IN THIS SECTION
The Department of Management and Organization aims to educate individuals who embrace contemporary management principles, are capable of analyzing organizational structures, managing change effectively, and acting with a strong sense of ethical responsibility. The academic vision of our department is to establish an educational and research environment that integrates scientific knowledge with practice, adopts a student-centered approach to education, and contributes to sustainable development by building strong connections between institutions and society. Accordingly, all academic and administrative activities are planned with a quality-oriented perspective and are continuously updated in line with the principle of ongoing improvement.
Through its Business Administration Program, the department adopts a student-centered approach as a fundamental principle in education and training. Students are regarded not merely as recipients of knowledge but as active stakeholders in the learning process. Through the academic advising system, students are guided in determining their career goals, supported in their personal development, and assisted in shaping their professional orientations. Internship opportunities, field studies, and collaborative projects with institutions enable students to gain practical experience and relate theoretical knowledge to real-life applications. In addition, seminars, workshops, and social activities contribute to the development of students’ communication, leadership, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills.
The Business Administration Program aims to educate individuals who can adapt to changing global economic conditions, possess advanced analytical thinking skills, adhere to ethical values, and demonstrate an innovative perspective. The program’s academic vision is to create a sustainable educational environment that integrates the production of scientific knowledge with practical application, is based on a student-centered learning approach, and contributes to social and economic development through strong ties with the business world. In this context, education, research, and administrative processes are continuously improved and updated through a quality-focused approach.
Our management and organizational structure is based on a participatory and transparent understanding. Academic and administrative decision-making processes are carried out through collective reasoning, ensuring the active involvement of faculty members, while departmental goals are regularly reviewed in line with strategic planning. Performance evaluation, feedback mechanisms, and quality assurance systems are effectively utilized to support institutional development. This structure enables our department to maintain a dynamic organization capable of adapting quickly to the evolving needs of the business environment.
Our educational approach is grounded in a contemporary pedagogy that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application. Students are provided with a strong academic foundation in core business disciplines such as management, marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, and production management. Their decision-making and problem-solving skills are enhanced through case analyses, project-based learning methods, and applied studies. Current topics such as digitalization, data analytics, sustainability, and entrepreneurship are incorporated into course content to ensure that students acquire competencies aligned with the demands of the modern era. Thus, our graduates are expected to be not only knowledgeable but also capable of applying their knowledge effectively in professional life.
Our student-centered approach reflects an understanding that considers individual differences and recognizes students as active participants in the learning process. Through academic
advising, students receive guidance in career planning and in identifying development areas aligned with their interests and abilities. Internship programs, field applications, and industry-based collaborative projects help students become closely acquainted with professional life and enhance their employability after graduation. Social, cultural, and scientific activities also support students’ multidimensional development.
Our research activities are conducted within an application-oriented framework aimed at transforming scientific knowledge into social and economic value. Studies in areas such as management sciences, financial analysis, marketing strategies, organizational behavior, and entrepreneurship contribute both to academic literature and to solutions for challenges faced by businesses. Faculty participation in national-level projects is encouraged, and involving students in research processes helps cultivate a culture of scientific thinking from an early stage.
The department strengthens its educational and research activities through collaborations with public institutions, private sector organizations, and professional associations at the national level. These partnerships enhance students’ practical experiences while enabling the integration of academic knowledge with industry needs. Joint projects, seminars, and technical visits carried out within the scope of university–industry cooperation increase students’ professional awareness and prepare them more effectively for the workplace.
In conclusion, our Department of Management and Organization aims to establish an academic structure that provides high-quality education, promotes scientific productivity, places students at the center of learning, and builds strong relationships with its stakeholders. Our goal is to graduate qualified individuals who adhere to ethical values, think innovatively, can succeed in competitive business environments, and contribute to societal development. Guided by a philosophy of continuous improvement, our primary objective is to offer a respected and preferred business education at the national level.
